Jobsefy
Safety & Trust
Practical steps to stay safe when hiring or providing services.
Jobsefy helps you connect — safety on the job is a shared responsibility. Please follow these practices.
For customers
- Compare more than one provider when possible; ask for clear price and scope before work starts.
- Meet in a safe, agreed location. For home visits, have another adult present if you can.
- Never pay the full amount before work is done. Prefer staged payments tied to progress.
- Do not share bank OTPs, BVN, or passwords with anyone claiming to be from Jobsefy.
- Report harassment, threats or suspected scams to [email protected].
For providers
- Agree price, materials and timeline in writing (chat or SMS) before you start.
- Be honest about skills and availability. Poor or unsafe work harms everyone.
- Do not ask customers for Jobsefy passwords or unrelated personal data.
- Trust your instincts — walk away from jobs that feel unsafe or fraudulent.
What Jobsefy does
- Reviews customer requests before they go public
- Limits contact sharing until a provider applies with credits
- May suspend accounts that abuse the platform
